چکیده

In mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs), devices connect with other wirelessly, where there is no central administration. They are prone to different types of attacks such as the black hole, insider, gray wormhole, faulty node, and packet drop, which considerably interrupt perform secure communication. This paper has implemented denial-of-service like hole on general-purpose on-demand distance vector (AODV) protocol. It uses three approaches: normal AODV, AODV (BH_AODV), detected (D_BH_AODV), wherein we observe that holes acutely degrade performance networks. We have within using two techniques: (1) intrusion detection system (IDS) (2) encryption technique (digital signature) concept prevention. Moreover, BH_AODV, D_BH_AODV protocols investigated for various quality service (QoS) parameters, i.e., delivery ratio (PDR), delay, overhead varying number nodes, sizes, simulation times. The NS2 software been used a tool simulate existing network topologies, but it does not contain any mechanism malicious by itself; therefore, developed routing outcomes show proposed approach PDR value delivers around 40 50% nodes packets. contrast, delay decreases from 300 100 ms 150 50 an increase in packets, respectively. Furthermore, changes 1 3 values. outcome this research proves attack degrades overall network, while enhances QoS since detects avoids them establish communication between nodes.
